About me
My name is Sam. I am an experienced photographer from Derbyshire UK. Usually based around Derby, Swadlincote and Burton On Trent.
I am an Experienced photographer who specialises in many types of Photography. My most popular forms of photography are Portraits, Events, Costume and Cosplay. I am also open to other forms of photography.

I shoot Cosplay photoshoots across the UK. I like to shoot on location and create an experience where I make you feel like the character. I have worked with many different cosplayers, both at location shoots and on convention floors, so if you see me around. make sure you say hello.
I'm also a portrait photographer. I love taking peoples photos as I find people interesting. So if you would like a portrait taken, I'm your guy. My aim is to capture your personality in a frame. These photos could be used for headshots, business purposes or simply to show off how awesome you are on your socials.
One of my favourite things to do is go to events across the UK and simply take photos. I have many professional skills within Event photography as my work experience has been built around event work. Whether this be taking photos of live music or a corporate event. My experience in all kinds of event photography can help build and tell the story of your event in a professional and attractive way.

When Sam reached out on cosplay platforms asking if anyone would help build his portfolio and have a free photoshoot I was like yeah I'm up for that. Sam was local to me and we communicated through text and calls, and we had a video call to arrange where to meet and discuss where and what would happen on the day. I had 3 Jason Vorhees suits to try on for the shoot and it was hot very hot. Sam and his assistant were professional and just down to earth chaps, he made me feel comfortable in a situation that could of felt very uncomfortable. The shoot was fantastic and very hot even when my diabetes nearly took me out due to the heat and costume changes. Sam and his assistant stayed with me and made sure I was alright, I knew that I would want to do more shoots with this guy. the second time around I went to have a my Raphael turtle shoot with Sam. Even though I got into a strop as the suit initially wasn't fitting me (first time trying it on ) Sam persevered and as professional as always helping me get into the suit and out of it. The photos again were amazing and Sam was the same down to earth guy and always professional. I haven't just found a photographer I have also found a friend who has a love of photography and definitely knows his stuff. I fully recommended Sam if you want your cosplays to come to life thanks again Sam.

Sam was incredibly professional when filming my son's christening. A week before the day, we met up over a coffee so we could discuss exactly what I wanted captured. I really appreciated him taking the time to meet face-to-face, as it showed how much he cared about getting everything right. On the day, he arrived at the church early to make sure everything was set up and ready before our family and friends arrived. He captured the day beautifully and delivered the finished video very promptly. What really stood out was that he asked me to watch the finished video before making any payment, just to make sure I was completely happy with it. I couldn't recommend Sam highly enough – thank you for giving us such a special memory to treasure.

Working with Sam is like working with a friend that you have known for years, from our first communications he put us at ease, chatting about what we wanted out of the shoot was professional but smooth. When he attended our event, he confirmed with us what we were looking for out of the day and we then left him to it, he touched base throughout the day to make sure we were getting what we wanted which we found refreshing and it felt like he genuinely wanted us to get the most out of him being there. When we received the photos, we were amazed at the shots and they felt like we were right back there. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well Sam’s work definitely conveys this.
